Sunday, March 30th at 9pm EST the History Channel will release a new episode of Food that Built America: Coffee. The episode will explore the history of coffee in America with a specific focus around, what we know as, the First Wave: coffee being brought into the home and the emergence of national brands. This was a time in the late 1800's when brands like Foldgers, Arbuckles and Maxwell House first emerged. Pioneers of the coffee trade that brought coffee from an amateur level to an industry.

My love for coffee history is captured in this episode as I was interviewed on the subject. I have not seen the final program yet so I am not sure how much or little my contribution will be included. Either way, it was an honor to be asked and great fun to discuss one of my favorite topics; Coffee History in America.

Below is a quick trailer, please do tune in and check it out. I'm very curious where the journey leads us.
